Jungle Nights at Eden

On Monday the 18th, the Publicity South West staff was invited, along with staff from Cornish Tourist Information Centres, to the Eden Project for the opening night of their Jungle Nights.

David Meneer, Eden's Marketing Director, started with a presentation. He is quite an outstanding man, busy helping serve drinks at the bar before the presentation; very approachable. Tim Smitt was in the crowd, down to earth as ever, as was most of the Eden management.

Jungle Nights sounds very exciting, and is a good example of just why the Eden Project is at the forefront of tourism in the South West; they constantly re-invent themselves. They are now providing evening entertainment comprising of a hog roast (which was absolutely delicious..!), a soundscape in the humid biome, live ethnic music in the temperate biome, a hot air balloon and zip wire amongst other things.

Well worth going to. I always prefer Eden in the evening, preferably in the dusk, as the smells of the plants are so strong.

Keep a look out in our stands for the Jungle Nights leaflet we are distributing now for more information.
